The door to her new room banged open and closed behind Jace. As he finally tracked her down ten minutes later, he was right there staring down at her. She could feel his anger and annoyance, as she sat there on the floor, reading her study book, ignoring him and whatever he wanted.
It was a good solid minute of him just staring at her, but she wasn’t going to acknowledge him anymore, she would not look up at him and apologize to him for what he’d done. Damaging her phone beyond repair, insulting her and showing to his allied Alpha that he could disrespect her, but she wasn’t allowed to return the favor.
