Parker’s POV
I knew what I was rooting for, and it wasn’t eating at the diner. Don’t get me wrong, I loved eating at the diner, but I really didn’t want to deal with Cassidy today. Caleb went with me to buy my clothes, and I was glad I kept them all. Half of them were on sale, and I didn’t even know it. That definitely made my day better. Finding out I was having a girl was the cherry on top. I had been concerned about having a miniature Nolan.
His family would have insisted on seeing the baby if it were a boy. But they didn’t value girls as much, and they wouldn’t even care. I’ve heard that speech a hundred times if I had heard it once.
