Cassidy’s POV
I was anxious by the time I left work. The drive home was slower than normal as I was dreading arriving home tonight. I already knew what was waiting for me there. Ginger made sure to tell me just how angry my family was with me. I thought she was bluffing at first, but I eventually realized she was right. They were pissed that she confronted Parker in the diner. I was the one who told her to do that. I thought she would be in and out quickly, not start a whole incident instead.
