Caden’s POV
Caleb insisted that we follow Parker all the way home. He is a stubborn and protective little guy. I had the new set of blocks for Parker's house in the back of the truck. I also bought a new, smaller set to add to Caleb’s blocks. We can play with them after his bath tonight. I put the box for Parker in the back of my mother’s SUV. It was going to rain on Sunday, which would keep the box dry until we took it over.
I also didn’t want my whole family to ask why I got him so many blocks when they knew he already had a large set. It would be a whole thing. I didn’t want to answer questions about why I was taking it to her house or listen to them tease me about going over to see her. I was just trying to avoid the drama. I’m sure they will all hear about what happened
