Nolan’s POV
Where the hell was she? I left work early on Friday, but they never came home. It’s like they’re intentionally hiding from me. I’ve been outside their home, and no one has come out to get mail or left for errands. I even went by Christy and Byron’s home, but she wasn’t there either. She's still not answering my calls or texts. I want to know how she found out about Brandie. If Brandie lied to me and told Parker about us, I will deal with her. Everything is ruined, and someone is going to pay for it.
I waited until Saturday night and looked through the windows of her uncle’s house. I still remember the fear I felt when I first saw him. I couldn’t stop myself from backing away from him. He noticed my reaction, and I saw one side of his mouth lift, but not in a smile
