Parker’s POV
I worked through my emails on Monday so I could take Tuesday off. I felt bad about disappointing Caleb the other night. When Della mentioned it would be nice to go to the park after lunch on Tuesday, I quickly agreed. I enjoyed spending time with them both. I arrived at the courthouse square before they did and walked around window-shopping.
I have a checkup coming up in Chattanooga next week. My first visit to my new OBGYN. I was approaching three and a half months, and my baby bump was just starting to show. I decided that after my visit, I would go to a maternity shop and grab a few pieces. I doubted that they had one in Jasper Falls. Might as well make a day of it. I headed to the diner after checking out the shops, arriving ten minutes early.
