Nolan’s POV
I can’t believe Parker. She’s never hung up on me before. I don’t know what she’s thinking, but she means to divorce me. I wanted to drive over and speak to Brandie, but I was afraid things might get physical. Parker was always kind and gentle. She was never like this before, and she was clearly jealous. I tried calling her, but it kept going to voicemail.
I left her two voicemails and three texts, but she didn’t even read them. I’ve started to get worried. If we go through with a divorce, she will pull her money. That means an audit, to divide assets, and I really can’t let her do that. It has to be Brandie. There was no other explanation for Parker's complete turnaround.
