Nolan’s POV
Brandie pouted all day, and I decided to leave early. I wanted to take Parker out and show her off. I was hoping that she was as excited as I was about our night out. It was all I could think about today. I was done with Brandie, and she needed to get that message.
I stopped and picked up flowers for Parker, something I haven’t done in a while. I felt bad for how badly I had neglected her. How did I let Brandie control me like that? What made me listen to her? But all that was in the past. I could see the truth now, and I won’t let Brandie ruin my relationship. I’m confident I could make it up to her, and I’m willing to try.
