Nolan’s POV
I never knew Brandie had intentionally set me up the day Christy walked in on us. Brandie insisted that it was an unfortunate accident because she knew how angry I was over it. I was clear about her leaving me alone while they were there. I was getting an ulcer worrying about what to do to stop Parker from leaving me.
I felt anxious and trapped, but when Brandie first suggested killing them, I shot it down several times. She was the one who kept insisting that we end Christy and Byron before they could tell Parker. Our original plan hadn’t included hurting anyone. Not physically, at least. I knew Parker loved me. That she might end up with a broken heart, but that was it. She would eventually get over it and move on with her life. No one was supposed to get hurt,
