I feel like there is a rock in my stomach when I see the doctor's face. All the happiness I felt after he told us that my blood test was positive is fading and being replaced with fear. A fear that there is something wrong with my pup or, worse, that I've lost it all together. How can I feel so sick about something that I didn't even know I had until last night? "What's wrong" I finally manage to force the question from my lips. The doctor snaps his eyes to mine and his eyes soften. "I apologize if I scared you, Alpha." "I was just a little bit shocked by what's on the screen." "Shocked by what", Lake asks with irritation in his voice. I squeeze his hand and he seems to settle down. He turns the screen and I can't believe what I'm seeing. The doctor smiles "now I know why
