"Lake, what's happening?" The smile that spreads across his face eases the nerves in my belly, but what the hell could have happened? "Lake" I say and without a word, he leans in, laying a soft kiss on my belly before he stands up. He puts his hands on my face and I can see unshed tears in his eyes. I'm going to have a pup. I'm going to be a mother. I see a look of concern on Lake's face probably because I've been silent for a long time. "Are you not happy about having a pup love?"
