Chapter 6.1 : Under The Rain

2410 Words
BK and Daphne turned to the window at the same time when they heard the strong wind beating against it, the one near the dining area. One window was open, so they could hear the loud sound of the wind from inside. That was followed by the ringing of the phone from the living room. They exchanged glances. BK stood up to answer the call. They had just started eating breakfast at that moment. She had taken a few bites when she saw BK returning. “Papa called. All flights, local and international, were canceled because of the incoming typhoon,” he said loudly since he wasn’t at the dining area yet. She felt a little sad. She looked at her husband after a moment. “Did he say when the flight will be rescheduled? ” “Don’t worry, once the weather clears up, the canceled flights will resume right away. I already called Fly Moore. They’ll get back to us with updates.” She nodded at her husband. It really makes a difference when you have connections. But she was honestly feeling down. She was disappointed. She didn’t finish the food on her plate. She lost her appetite because of the news. BK glanced at her. “Didn’t you like the food I made?” he asked. “It tastes good. I just lost my appetite,” she admitted. She felt like something was blocking her happiness. Just when she was about to leave, this damn typhoon came. “I’ll do the dishes after you. I’ll just go to the room for a bit.” She stood up and placed her plate in the sink. She glanced at the window when she heard the rain start to fall—large drops, visible through the glass. It was gradually getting heavier. She closed the sliding door that connected the living room and garden. Rain was splashing in. She also pulled down the curtains before heading upstairs. She looked sadly at her packed suitcase. She had been so excited, only for the trip to get canceled. She flopped onto the bed, lying face down. She was truly heartbroken. She understood—it was dangerous weather—but she still felt sad. The excitement she felt earlier had vanished. She was deep in thought when her bedroom door opened. It was probably BK. She felt the bed shift to her left after a moment. “Hey,” she heard BK say. He clearly knew she was feeling sad. She turned to her left and looked up at him. “I’m okay, BK. Don’t worry about me.” She buried her face back into the bed. “You’re not okay. What can I do to help you feel better?” he asked. She glanced at him again. “Stop worrying. I’m just upset because I didn’t get to go, that’s all. So don’t worry about it.” He didn’t say anything right away, and she buried her face in the bed again. She heard him sigh. He watched her for a while. “Wanna go play in the rain?” he asked eventually. She paused. Does he bathe in the rain? He came from a rich family, so it was so hard to believe. She sat up and faced him. “Have you ever bathed in the rain?” she asked him. He smiled at her. “Yeah. But not for long. Mom didn’t like it. You know, I’m the youngest.” True. She’s even caught his mom trying to spoon-feed BK when he was being affectionate. “Ah, okay.” “So, what? Are you in?” She smiled at her husband. “I’m in!” she said. BK turned away from her but stayed seated. She was about to stand when he slapped his back after glancing at her. She raised her brow, confused. She didn’t move when he turned away again. “Hop on my back.” He looked at her again and tapped his back once more. Now she understood. “No way! I’m heavy, BK!” “No, you’re not! Come on, hurry up!” “I really am heavy!” she insisted. “What do you think your husband is, weak? No matter how heavy you are, I got you. Let’s go!” He adjusted his seat again. She stared at his broad back. “You sure?” “Yes, ma’am,” he said, which made her smile. He was suddenly being so polite! “Alright, if you say so!” she replied, scooting closer to him and parting her legs. She wrapped them around his waist and held onto his neck. She took in his scent and gently pressed her lips together. He smelled so good—so manly. “All set?” he asked. “Y-yes,” she replied, inhaling his scent again. As soon as she said it, he stood up. She heard him grunt as he did. “You’re quite heavy.” He laughed, so she slapped his arm. She knew he was teasing. “Told you!” “I was just joking.” “Sure?” she asked. “Yes, baby.” She rested her chin on his shoulder and looked at him. She really liked hearing that endearment. It made her feel giddy. “Baby, open it.” “Huh?” she said, confused. She was too focused on his face and the way he called her. “The door, Daph!” he nudged her. “Oh! Wait.” She grabbed the doorknob and pulled it open. BK laughed as he stepped outside with her still on his back. She didn’t know what BK was up to, but she liked it, so she just went along. She wanted to enjoy herself. BK tightened his grip on her legs as they went down the stairs. She wanted to get down—she was scared of heights—but he wouldn’t let her. He pinched her thigh when she said she wanted to go down. Meaning, he didn’t want her to, so he gave her a little pinch. She was wearing shorts, so it hit her bare skin directly. She held tighter around BK’s neck when she felt the cold wind caused by the typhoon. “Can you handle the cold?” her husband asked, turning to her. “I can,” she said. It was still early, so it was really chilly. BK stepped out of the house. She gasped when the rain hit her. She couldn’t help but shut her eyes as the big raindrops fell. The heavy rain soaked them in no time. She frowned when BK started walking toward the gate. “Where are we going?” she asked. “Outside, of course. Let’s go around the subdivision.” He even smiled at her. “What?!” “You heard me right, Mrs. Hernandez!” he shouted, laughing. BK sped up toward the gate, so she clung tighter to him in case she fell. “Put me down, BK!” she shouted at him. He looked at her. “Nope! Later. When I get tired!” “This is embarrassing. Come on!” she said. He looked back at her. “You always say it’s embarrassing. There’s nothing embarrassing about this, Daph. Don’t mind them if you’re bothered, okay? Just imagine it’s only the two of us on the road,” he said and slowed his pace. She followed what he said, but she still felt a bit awkward, especially when neighbors started looking. Some were peeking from their windows. She buried her face in his neck every time they passed someone or a car. Ugh, she was so embarrassed. Not because she was ashamed of her husband, but because of what they were doing. They looked like kids. People might think they’d lost their minds. BK really didn’t get tired. They made a full round around the subdivision. He said it was like a workout, just under the rain. They didn’t mind the heavy rain and wind. They didn’t even feel cold because of the heat from their bodies. BK set her down when they got back in front of their house. He was panting when he put her down. He sat on the gutter and looked up at her. “My turn,” he said, making her frown. “What do you mean, your turn?” “I’ll ride your back now,” he said, laughing. “What?!” He laughed louder, even slapping the gutter. “Yeah. I told you we’d switch! You said yes.” “You’re crazy, BK! You never said that! Don’t mess with me!” She quickly walked away from him, annoyed. She nearly ran into the gate. She quickened her pace inside, but then suddenly screamed when she was lifted off the ground. Her vision spun slightly. Her husband had her like a sack of rice. “BK! Come on! Put me down!” She hit his back several times but he didn’t budge. She could hear his loud laughter as he walked toward the pool. Her eyes grew wide as she realized where they were going. Anticipating his next move, she quickly pinched her nose just as he hurled her into the pool. That part was a bit deep, but she was fine with it. She quickly swam up. Her husband’s laughing face greeted her. And wow, he didn’t even go in! He really threw her! Good thing she knew how to swim—at least in a pool. She glared at him when she reached the handrail. He walked over as she tried to climb out. He sat down there, blocking her. Then he took off his shirt. “Get out of the way!” she said, but he just smiled. “Nope.” He stepped into the pool, so she moved back. “One!” she warned. “Two, baby.” He even helped her count. “BK!” she shouted as he grabbed her waist. She gripped his firm chest. The air was cold, but her husband’s body felt warm. His warmth was spreading—she could feel herself heating up again, just like earlier when she was on his back. “What now?” he asked, staring at her lips. “L-let go of me, BK.” She tried to push him away, but he wouldn’t budge. “Nope,” he said, leaning closer. She turned her head fast—he was about to kiss her. “I’m just here to collect,” he added with a grin, so she looked at him again. “What do I owe you?” she asked, frowning. He grinned. “I carried you around, remember? That’s got a price. I entertained you too, so you have to pay.” She gave him a look. She didn’t have anything to pay him with. “For your information, you were the one who insisted I ride your back! Not me! Let go of me!” she said, annoyed. He was the one who wanted it earlier. Now he wanted payback? “A kiss is all I ask.” She raised her brow at him. Since when was a kiss a form of payment? “Ugh, whatever, BK!” She pinched him on both sides of his waist, and he let her go. She took the chance and moved to the handrail. She was about to lift her foot when he hugged her from behind and pulled her away. He was hugging her from the back. “BK, come on!” She grabbed his hands to pull them off, but he held her tighter. She was about to pinch his thigh again when her hand slipped and grabbed something bulging between his legs. She froze, and so did he. “F*ck, baby!” he said, burying his face in her neck. She swallowed hard when his lips touched her. That felt like the spark that ignited everything. She didn’t have the strength to resist. She held his hand as his lips traveled down to her neck. Why did she feel so heated? Unconsciously, she raised her face to give him more access. “Oh, Daph,” her husband murmured, then softly nibbled on her earlobe. She closed her eyes at his action. It intensified her feelings. He removed his right hand from hugging her and let it roam, squeezing wherever it touched. Even through clothing, she felt the effect of his hand on her. It only fanned the heat she was feeling. She held her breath when his hand slipped under her shirt. Especially when it traveled downward. His fingers played with her navel while his kisses climbed toward her lips. She was slightly facing him now. It didn’t take long before his hand slipped into her shorts. She met his lips when he kissed her. Their lips moved hungrily. She mirrored what he was doing to her. She didn’t care if her neck was cramping from craning up just to enjoy his kiss. She moaned when his hand went into her underwear and cupped her. His fingers found her most sensitive spot. She broke the kiss and leaned against his chest as he began pleasuring her. Her body arched slightly. “Wider, baby.” He was spreading her thighs further. He wanted them wider. She followed him without a thought. She moved her legs apart to give him more room. She clung to his neck when he slid a finger inside her. Something pushed her to kiss him again, and he responded eagerly. They didn’t mind the pounding rain because the heat between them drowned everything else. He paused to tease her. “I want you, Daph…” he murmured, pausing. “But only if you’re ready,” he added gently. She knew what he meant. She’d told him she had no experience with s3x yet. She removed his hand from her underwear and faced him. She smiled before wrapping her arms around his neck. He got the message and kissed her again, lifting her. Her legs automatically wrapped around his waist. He guided them to the stairs by the side of the pool. They went up without breaking their kiss. Their exchange of kisses grew more passionate in those moments. They caught their breath only briefly, then resumed their fervent embrace. They didn’t care if their drenched bodies were wet. What mattered was that nothing interrupted their completely shared ecstasy.
