Ever since Valerie started blowing up Vito’s phone, I was a little bit worried and anticipated what her next action would be. I was expecting anything but having a baby for Vito.
I wasn’t comfortable watching something like that, so I stood up angrily and left the table after she said she was pregnant with Vito’s child.
I went outside the house and someone walked behind me. I expected it to be Vito but it was Ellie instead.
“Babe, what’s the problem? Why are you angry?” Ellie asked me. I didn’t know if I was finally ready to tell her about how I’d been lying to her for months and keeping my affair with Vito a secret.
“Let’s go to my mum’s house, I’ll explain on the way but I need to leave here immediately,” I replied, walking in the direction of her car.
