It took awhile for the party to wind down and the guests to filter out. Molly was the last to go. She was very reluctant to leave Julio behind, and they spent long minutes out on the front steps sucking each other's faces off. I didn't envy the two of them. If they wanted to build a real relationship, they had a lot of hurdles to jump, starting with the long-distance, and Julio's immigration status.
Morgan and Julio were sleeping over. Julio was sleeping on the couch downstairs, and I gave Morgan my bed. I had no intentions of using it anyway. We helped with the clean-up and watched a movie on the couch with Julio, but the guy was asleep before we were even halfway to the good parts. I gave Ray a look and nodded my head toward the stairs.
