Samantha walked down to the parking lot, where she believed Joseph was waiting for her. Her eyes were blurry as tears streamed down her cheeks. Those words she hurled at Kendrick caused a piercing pain in her heart. Her heart sank as she realized everything between them was over.
“Sam, I'm just a call away if you need someone to talk to,” Marco said when he met Samantha outside the lift in the carpark.
“I'm fine, Marco! Thank you!” She responds.
“No! You're not fine and it was all my cousin's fault. I don't what's in him why he acted stupidly this time,” Marco added. He couldn't hide his annoyance at Kendrick.
