"A connection"

Angelina Knight:   I was sitting alone at my secret spot, crying my heart out because I want to remember everything that happened and I know my family is hiding something and I don't know why they are doing it. I want to know what happened that made me lose my memory.    “Linda, at least you can tell me what the hell happened to us. I may have forgotten, but you know. You know everything. I can feel it and you are hiding it from me. Your other piece.” I mind-linked my wolf, Linda.   “Yes, I know everything that happened, but I can't tell you. Please try to understand that I can't because if I do, someone very close to us will die and I don't want that.” Linda replied in my mind.   “Close one? But who? Is it someone from my family?” I ask, scared.   “No, it's not. Just trust me, please. To save us someone sacrificed so many things and if I tell you everything that person will die and I don't want that.” Linda replied and I was about to ask Linda who it was when out of nowhere a boy around the age of three and a half came walking towards me with tears in his eyes. The boy was so adorable with dirty blonde hair and amber eyes.   “Hey, little guy! What are you doing here and why are there tears in your beautiful eyes?” I asked the boy, picking him up in my arms and placing him on my lap. I wiped the boy's tears and placed a kiss on his cheek. I don't know why but I feel a connection to him somehow or maybe he is linked to someone I know.    “Hey, little guy, what's your name?” I ask.   “Daddy...Daddy...lost... lost.” The boy replied between hiccups and began to sob in my arms, wrapping his small arms around me and placing his head on my chest. All of a sudden I felt protective of the boy and hugged him close and tightly to my body.   “Don't worry, little guy. I will help you find your daddy just stop crying.” I said, calming the boy down and flicked my fingers in the air causing a bunch of toys to appear on the grass.    “Why don't you sit there and play while I try to find your dad.” I said, making the little boy immediately nod and his eyes lit up with excitement when he saw a bunch of toys placed on the grass.   “Linda, we should try to track the boy's father through magic.” I said to my wolf who didn't reply and just sat at the corner of my mind, like she was stunned or something. I felt her mind-link to someone and all of a sudden vanished in the back of my mind. I looked back at the little guy who was now looking behind me with the biggest smile on his face. He stood back on his feet and ran behind me. I turned around at a steady pace and my eyes widened all of a sudden when I saw a man standing over there. A very handsome man and behind that man my twin stood up with a clenched fist ready to pounce at the man any second now.   “W...Who...Who are you?” I ask, stammering.   “I am glad you are awake, Bella Mia.” The man said and smiled, as he scooped the boy in his arms and vanished all of a sudden. I tried to run towards the man when all of a sudden everything darkened around me and I felt my twin hold me before I could fall down on the ground and lose it.   “J...Ja...Jared.” I muttered and they were the last words I murmured before blacking out.
