Dawson’s POV
“Have we heard back from the Shadow Pack yet?” I ask Harrison.
“Nothing yet.” He says. I yell out in rage and knock everything off my desk.
“What are these guys even doing? They are worthless. They can’t find one girl?! ONE girl?!” I say.
“Sir, we should talk about Elk Forest. We have been given word that their army will be approaching soon. It looks as though war is inevitable.” Harrison says. I never thought they’d actually come here, but I guess taking their future Alpha is a problem.
“Have our warriors battle ready. I’m not backing down. If Elk Forest wants to be wiped out in the process, so be it.” Harrison looks unsure, but he holds his tongue.
“Yes sir.” He turns and leaves. I won’t lose. I’m the Alpha now.
