Once home, Tempest takes Riley straight to the hospital. His legs are already almost healed Ghost is rumbling in my head.
Dr. Brantley “Luna he’s been poisoned. I’ll try to flush everything out of his system while I wait for the bloodwork to know if we can start an antidote.”
“Thank you, Dr. Brantley.”
I sit holding his hand as Granny walks in. “You marked him. I felt the power shift.”
“Tempest said they were dying; was all I could think of to save him. But he hasn’t stirred. They injected him with liquid silver and wolfsbane. I can feel Ghost’s presence a bit.” She sees the tears in my eyes.
“Give him a bit sugar. Silver is no easy feat even with your powers. Wolfsbane is nothing for you two with the full power.” She strokes my hair.
Leo comes in to see him as she leaves. H
