I have been working non-stop since morning. And I can feel the fatigue set in. I know that I do most of the paperwork back at Anon but it’s still exhausting.
I have spent so much time alone with my mates that I felt guilty for leaving Vida and Eric.
The kid has been working really hard and Vida told me that he is taking some online courses instead of just going back to school.
I haven’t pried to know why he is living alone or why he stopped school. Of course, I will always be here to listen to him if he wants to talk to me and help if he wants any help.
I lift my head from looking at my computer screen when I hear a knock on my office door.
“Come in,” I say. I can already smell who it is; Vida.
She walks in with a smile even though she looks exhausted.
