It had been another bad night. Rain and I had barely slept and while we hadn’t talked a lot, I felt as though I knew her a bit better. One thing was for sure, Luca had not returned to the pack. I had been on high alert and throughout the night, I had hoped he would return. I was still going through everything, but I couldn’t figure out what had happened. Of course, I had to assume that Luca walking in on me, and Rain could have upset him, but I had a feeling it was much more than that.
