I had been out all day trying to catch scent of either Heidi or Lara. I figured if I could find Lara then I would find Heidi with her. The two girls were best friends.
“Oh, what are we going to do? She could be anywhere? She could be lying dead under a pile of snow…” Bash wailed.
“You seriously need to calm down. We don’t know anything yet,” I told him.
“Well… where do you think she is?” he demanded.
“Oh, come on. You know as well as I do, that I have been looking at all the places I think she could be,” I replied.
Basher getting annoyed with me, huffed in annoyance.
I began to head back towards my residence. I didn’t know what else I could do at this point. When I got to the house, I walked inside and saw that Lara had already lit the fire in the living room. The
