When evening came, I was in my room and I was thinking about Elijah when I heard I light tapping on the French doors that opened out onto my balcony. Getting up from my bed, I made my way over to the door, pulling the curtain back and peering outside the window. A smile broke out onto my face, and I quickly opened the door. Elijah stepped into my room and I closed and locked my balcony door behind him. The moment I turned towards him, Elijah dragged me towards him and wrapped his arms around me. I wrapped my arms around him and stood there loving being in his embrace. I felt so safe in his arms. When he reluctantly released me, I took his hand and dragged him towards my bed. We lay down on my bed and I snuggled close to him.
“How was your day?” he asked me quietly.
“Ugh!” I groane
