Since Mara heard Antelope announce his judgement on her situation, she had been closed off. She had gone to her office to ruminate over Antelope’s words, “Mara, must die!” A part of her wondered if it really was possible for love to die like that. If love could die, then was it really love? She had all sorts of questions and above all, Mara had never felt so betrayed in all her life.
