The Alpha Prince lifts me in his arms, and I don't even oppose. I rest my head against his chest as he walks, relaxing in his grasp.

A door opens and closes. I lift my head to look at my surroundings. It's an office with large, open windows, a mahogany table, and two leather couches.
Nicholas walks behind the desk and sits with me, still pressed against his chest. I can't even get out if I want to because we are both comfortable. His hand is stroking my hair, and both of us are silent.
The door opens again a few minutes later, and I turn to see who walked in. It's Lily, Blade, and Drake. I frown, feeling incredibly guilty.
Sensing my sadness, Drake smiles. "I'm fine. I have big boy healing," he tells me.
