Cindy paused at the kitchen exit door as she turned to look back at Peter. "Do you want me to do anything for you?" she asked him calmly, although she felt embarrassed to hear him say that he was avoiding women because he didn't want anyone controlling him. "Just give me a moment in the living room; let me rinse off my hands first," Peter said as he met Cindy's gaze. "Alright." Cindy looked away from him and walked out of the kitchen. She went back to the living room and sat waiting for Peter to finish rinsing the plates. Peter quickly grabbed a white towel and dried his hands. Once he was done mopping the kitchen and arranging it to look neat, he came out and saw Cindy seated on one of the living room couches.
