I grope for Chuck's side and open my eyes fast when I realize he is not in bed with me.
“Chuck.” I panic and sit up on the bed. I see him typing away on his laptop, on the sofa and sigh heavily.
“Relax baby.” I’m here.” He puts the laptop away and moves towards the bed.
I shift and feel some pain on my groin.
“Ow!” I scrunch my nose and support my back with the headboard. Just how intense was last night? I'm so sore.
“That bad?” He laughs and sits at the edge of the bed, his leg crossed on the other.
“You have no idea.” I smile and fold my legs, laying my chin on the knees.
“Ow!” I exclaim again and decide to lie instead of seating.
“Phewks!” I sigh with relief, bringing out another chuckle from him.
