The one who had contributed to give her a life, but never looked at her in another way. Never hiding his regret for her each time their eyes met, those eyes that were nothing but similar to hers. However, in contrast to his violet eyes, hers carried a hint of warmth, affection, purity and innocence , shimmering like the lovely purple morning glory standing at the peak of the mountain, garnering attention. It definitely had nothing to do with Alfred's stern gaze that seemed deep enough to suck out one's soul, emptying the body of its vitality. It hid no warmth, but mystery that held danger beneath it. Such a person, even if born through a a scheming and emotional person like Alfred couldn't be tainted by his viciousness. Perhaps it was due to the fact that his other children with Stella had gathered his evil QI. For that, Auriane was thankful, but when she thought about her previous life, her eyes darkened. It was all his fault for bearing such children that took her life away and it was her misfortune for being born in such a scheming family. Being born prematurely and losing her mother earlier than most average number of children, fate indeed rendered her helpless. It was unfortunate that she couldn't save her mother, even if she had to travel back in time before her death, how could an infant like her do anything to save her mother, it was practically impossible. "The house is dilapidated and not the type of home that anyone would reflect about, however, I'm contented with it. I really like it." The smile on Nora's lips widened as she scanned around the dilapidated house with glistening eyes. Although the house wasn't a feast for the eyes, it held a certain charm, besides it also proved that she had her personal space. It was no wonder Nora would like it. Rather than living in a large mansion as that of her father, watching over each step she took and always keeping up her guard, a place like this dilapidated home was a better choice to relax one's mind and enjoy the bliss of freedom. Of course,it was a place to be, though not safe for one to live in for the moment, Auriane felt that the house wasn't in much a worst state, with few sweeping, cleaning, repairing and painting, she was confident to make this house a home to be proud of. "I guess we should start working. "Huh?", Nora stared at Auriane with a puzzled expression, then she stared at the house which was in a complete mess. Though she really wanted to make this place a home where she could feel at ease to nourish the feotus in her womb, give birth to it and raise it as a good mother. It was easily said than done, though she was just in her sixth weeks of pregnancy, she still felt extremely lazy, but she had to push herself hard hard to avoid slacking off, afterall, as a mother to be, she couldn't ne too lazy, now that she was rendered independent. Auriane also felt that the house was a little too messy, giving them no idea on how to begin. The house measured 36×40, approximately 1440 square, it had two rooms with one measuring 13n-5n×16n-8n, while the other room was slightly smaller than the first, measuring 12n-4n×12n×12n-6n. Besides the second room, there was also the utility room measuring 11n-4n×12n-6n. Followed by the kitchen which measured12n×13n, while the living room was even more impressive as it measured and overwhelmed the measurements of other areas, measuring up to 19n-4n×17n. Together with two bathrooms the house was a 1440 square house, big enough to accommodate at least three to four individuals. There was no dinning hall, but Auriane immediately thought of a solution to remedy the situation. Dust covered a great part of the house, few broken chairs and tables, with some few holes here and there. As for outside, the only big problem were the broken and tattered fence that sorrounded the house,as well as the stubborn weeds that kept growing, almost making the house invisible at first glance. The most shocking one were the termites that hid in the house, which could pose a problem. At least it could pose a problem to anyone who didn't know how to deal with it efficiently.Alfred had probably guessed it would be great threat for Nora when he chosed to gift Nora the tattered house instead of his other properties. He just wanted to make life miserable for Nora, little did he know that Auriane would be able to destroy every threat in the house, cleaning repairing and putting things in order, Auriane hadn't stop since she stepped in the house. The first part of the house to be cleaned was the kitchen, followed by the master's room which she deemed an important task. As soon as she carried the pile of dirt to the front yard, her stern expression suddenly swapped into that of vigilance. Scanning the front yard for a while she returned to her stern expression and ordered. "Come out!" Her words sent shivers down one's spine, but it didn't seem to carry any deathly intent. It was authoritative, giving one no choice but to obey at fast speed. Soon, the bush rustled for a while and from it came out two hedgehog, well that's how Auriane portrayed them before their faces clearly appeared in front of Auriane. It was a young girl and a young guy of which the boy was quite foreign to her, but she could clearly tell that the girl was the one who had bumped into her while she was on her morning jog, she had even helped her with some math equation. "Hi, we were...I mean we met some few days ago, remember." "I know.", Auriane gave a nonchalant answer, causing Stacey to perspire in nervousness, unable to say anything to further crush the awkward situation, she turned to Serge for help, but he ignored her, pretending he didn't see her pleading expression. It wasn't that he didn't want to help her, but he wasn't in a better position than her. Coupled with Auriane's intimidating aura, he felt like a thief that had been caught. If he had known that he would be caught in such a way, he wouldn't have agreed to stalk on Auriane and her sister. However, there was no 'ifs', he would just admit that curiosity had indeed killed the cat and he was the cat In order to know more about the situation in which Auriane and her sister were in, he ended up being caughtred handed stalking and now no word could actually describe how he felt at moment, faced with a thirteen year old girl who's aura was far more intimidating than most adults and his who was fifteen. He tried to lift up his head to look into her eyes, as a routine reaction of his in order to tell people's expression before he could react based on their expression, whether they were annoyed, sad, curious or dubiousness. All these was important in order to use the best words and method to communicate with others without making a mistake. At least, the method had always worked and he was always able to free himself from any complicated situation. However, the moment his eyes met Auriane's ever green eyes, shimmering like several rays of sun hitting the green leaves that had barely passed through dew. It was captivating, so much captivating that he had almost lost his breath. He had already been unable to stomach her captivating beauty that rendered him speechless, but now coupled with her charming ever green eyes, he immediately lost his words and only exclaimed internally with amazement. Absolutely stunning. Auriane who was unaware of the effect she had on Serge saw him suddenly hang his head low after being stunned for quite a while. Ignoring his complicated expression, she finally lifted her lips to speak in order to placate the situation and hurry back to help her sister. But before she could utter a word, Nora's voice reverberated from inside. "Auriane, I heard voices, who are you talking to?"
