On the other side, Auriane who had no idea what her step mother and father were planning quietly closed the door of her room, upon making sure that Nora was sound asleep on her side and there was no risk leaving her on her own. Though they were in their home, Auriane didn't cease to have the impression that they were living in a lion's den. On her side she could still survive and protect herself from the schemes and evil gaols of the Whites. However, Nora wasn't so lucky as she had already fallen for one of the schemes that ended up with her carrying the child of an unknown personality. As such she was burdened with not only her troubles, but she had to strife to protect her unborn baby. Though Auriane didn't have much of an impression towards the little feotus growing in her sister's womb, she was still determined to let it see the light. Perhaps it was a form repayment created from guilt coming from her past life memories, causing her to recall when she unintentionally killed mother and child due to her naivety. In this life she wasn't going to let history repeat itself, so she was ready to fight for her future nephe or niece with everyone ounce of effort strength she could use. "Little baby, you must survive." With that said, Auriane flopped on her bed, closing her eyes as soon as her body felt relaxed. Her pupils became heavier, soon she dozed off without realisation, going deeper into sleep. Her chest raised and fell as her gentle breath allowed her to sleep with ease, yet her brows couldn't seem to straighten. No one could tell why, but in her deep slumber, Auriane had a dream. An unexpectedly weird dream that claimed her memories and made her doubt between reality and myth. As real as it felt, she found herself slowly going deep into the sea, with no means to struggle against the sea weeds that her hands captive. Her face contorted from the lack of oxygen in the deeper rivers and her pale lips quivered. A bubble and several others escaped her mouth as she kept struggling in the river with no way of escape. The deeper sea was blurry but lovely with koi fishes swimming a distance from her with curiosity as they didn't stay too far from her reach, but she couldn't enjoy the beauty of the deeper sea. But if she could survive this tragic dive,then...then she would come back to appreciate the beauty of the sea. Several other thoughts subconsciously swirled in her, filling her brain to the brim. However, she felt that her brain was getting empty, devoid of oxygen and gradually her vision was blurry and her body lost the strength to struggle anymore. Just when she thought everything was hopeless, slender fingers pulled her and she felt her cold lips warm up from inside, finally giving her some oxygen. She opened her ever green eyes and they met dark blue eyes, they were cold, yet it gave one the feeling of watching the stars directly. His hair was a jet black texture, broad shoulders and sturdy chest that she could feel from his white pristine shirt. He was just like God's unique fine art that couldn't be found any where no matter where one search,a divine creation, cold and unapproachable, yet filling her hear with warmth. 'Who was he?' Without hesitation she verbally voiced out her thoughts, only to be bedazzled by his cold yet dazzling smile. It was the most beautiful scene she had ever witnessed, causing her to gasped looking at him with expectations. His eyes had been cold, but it suddenly softened, as if the cold unapproachable person that pulled her out of the sea had been a dream. A dream. As soon as the words left her mouth, Auriane abruptly opened her eyes only to realize that she has never left her room and everything that happened had been nothing but a dream. A dream that seemed to match with reality. The face she saw was clear with no form of creativity, it was as if she had once lived that moment. But how was it even possible, since she had never met the man in her dream, not in her past life, never. Dreams were projection of our thoughts and worries, simple transfigurating in our moment of relaxation, making one to experience and look at life in a further different direction. However, the dream she had couldn't be the projection of her thoughts or even part of her memories. The scene and the man in her dream were totally foreign to her. So where were the projections? Auriane shook off the thoughts about her dream, clambered off bed and pulled open the curtains to be greeted by the almost brilliant morning dew. However, it was still a little dark, so she didn't feel the warmness of the sun, but a cold morningmorning breeze greeted her. Reminding her of the feverish cold she felt underneath the ocean and her inability to breath. She almost felt shivers run down her spine with that thought. Taking a deep breath, Auriane cleard her mind off the thoughts and immediately changed into track suite as she chimed out of the house for her usual morning jog. Taking each step ahead, she hoped her mind would clear away from the thoughts of her dream which she didn't take as a nightmare. Perhaps some sort of premonition, but she couldn't be sure either. Her bright copper hair was tied in a pony tail danced behind her back, swinging from left to right with every body movement she made. A drop of sweat glided down her her white slender neck with a few strands of hair stocked on her flustered face, but she didn't look any messy. She exuded the beauty of a fresh lotus embedded with beads of dew, glowing under the first bright sun of the morning. Everyone who passed her way couldn't help but look back at the thin frame that passed them. She was so mesmerizing that some tend to forget that she was still underage and hadn't even yet bled. Oblivious of the attention she attracted, Auriane jogged back home only to be welcomed by Angel's delicate features. She stood by the hallway with a soft smile, her tender eyes locked in her as if she had met her soulmate. Smiling affectionately, she rushed towards Auriane with a towel. "Sister, you're back...I went up to your room but Aunt Mary told me you had gone out for your routine morning jog. Here, wipe your sweat with this." Ignoring Angel's kind attention to pass her a towel, Auriane glanced towards the dinning hall where the Whites including Cindy who wasn't part sat together for breakfast. A family indeed "Why were you looking for me?" Angel stiffened when Auriane ignored her kind attention, not looking at her with any warmth, but clearly nonchalant. As if hurrying her to take a step away from her, though Angel was displeased by Auriane's action, she still concealed her displeasure with a smile. "Father told me to call you over for breakfast." "Oh!" Auriane wasn't impressed at all that her so called father invited her over for breakfast. If her memory served right, Alfred White had never been pleased by her presence and always seemed to lose appetite when she sat with them. The disdain in his eyes couldn't be concealed each time he walked out of the table, eating nothing more. Due to this she followed Angel's advice to eat in the kitchen in order not to make her father angry. Like an i***t she always listened to Angel with hopes of winning her father's attention. An attention that she never had, no matter what effort and sacrifice she placed. Alfred White was a heartless man who placed his benefits and reputation above all. Her eyes darkened as she look towards Alfred's direction, but it was only for a short moment. It was so short that Angel who stood by her side was unable to detect it. "Sure, I'll be right back after freshening up." "Oh...okay." That said, Auriane by passed Angel and climbed up stairs to her roome where she took a quick bath and changed into a blue jeans and a casual baggy yellow t-shirt. Her hair was tied into a single pony tail and let to dance down her back.
