“Missy!” I heard Lily scream as we hit the bottom of the steps. I spun around, quickly looking for her. She had been a zombie every time I was at the hospital to bring Azly to Liam. I felt awful; Maddox hadn’t even marked me, and I could not imagine being in that position.
“Come quickly; Azalea is awake!” I turned to Maddox with wide eyes. He searched my face, and I could tell he was trying to decide what to do.
“I’ll go with Austin; you go see your mom. I’ll link Abigail too. Just go,” he said quickly, pushing me gently toward Lily. I stopped him, wrapping my arms around his neck. He gathered me tightly in his arms. “Go, darling. See your parents. Austin and I will handle this.”
I kissed the side of his neck, thankful that the Moon Goddess gave me such a loving mate. He let me
