“Hi Maria, sorry thatI cannot attain on you last few days, I was busy and have a coplete bedrest.” I said to the woman who was sitting next to me. Smilling with all her heart claiming that she missed me so much.
I smile brightly at her feeling the warmth that radiates through her.
“It’s okay, I understand. But at least you could have told me earlier so I can take good care of you.”
“My husband already hire a nurse to accompany me. So it’s okay.”
She only nods to me in agreement then she feels silent as if she was thinking deeply.
Today, I was able to convince Dauis for me to go out without Nurse Tilly. I still don't trust her tho. Even after a few days of watching her through a surveillance camera, she has done nothing other than the constant call of reporting.
“Can I come with you? And take care of you myself?” she later said leaving me surprised. I know, she has been suggesting to me but has to refuse her always.
But now, I am giving it a second thought.
Why not anyway? I guess it would be a lot better to live with a memoryless woman than Nurse Tilly.
