As I slowly open my eyes, trying to recall everything that happened before I fell asleep, i immediately stood up and reached to touch me tummy.
“Hey, easy.” Dauis who was beside me, sleepily assisted me to a seating position.
“the baby?” I asked eagerly.
“He made it, don't worry, he’s strong and he’s doing well in their so, nothing is to be worried about.” He said calming my now growing fear and worries.
“Then what’s with the bleeding? I mean–”
“Easy, okay? The doctor will drop by later to talk and explain all to you.” he said kissing my temple to calm me down.
My tears started to fell. I was so afraid… So afraid just like that day.
Afraid that I will lost someone very important again. With that in mind, I don't know how will I cope when worst will happen.
I was feeling very low spirited, and Dauis has been busy assisting me with my emotion when the doctor came in.
“So hello there Mrs. Suarez.” he greeted.
“Doctor, how was it? How is my baby?” I asked anxiously at him.
Dauis protectively hold me in my hand and sit beside me.
“Well, we have good and bad news.” he started.
Hearing what the doctor had just said, my drip on Dauis hands instantly tighten as if I am pulling my strength from there. My heart abruptly stopped from beating while my breathing come into halt.
While Dauis’s sweats break profusely in his forehead, while we both anxiously wait for the doctor to continue.
