When I got back inside, I saw Clint standing by the window, watching Michael and Alvara with a grin on his face. He turned to me as I walked inside. "So, my buddy finally got his mate, huh?" he asked.
I nodded. "Looks like. And did you hear what I told them?"
He shook his head. "No. I just walked in here. Why, what's up?"
I told him about Sherri showing up, and he let out an exasperated sigh.
