It was very entertaining for me - and I'm sure everyone else - to watch Alvara and Michael getting used to each other over the next couple of days. After she told me her story, her actions were a lot more understandable. She had asked me not to say anything to Michael about it, which I wouldn't have anyway - it wasn't my story to tell. She told me that she would tell him herself when she felt that the time was right. But I think Michael must have suspected that something had happened to make her as defensive as she was. He was so patient, not pushing her or trying to rush her into anything. Once, in conversation, she had mentioned that she was grateful he wasn't being too pushy or rushing her to make a decision.
