CHAPTER 6

1884 Words
I had to wear my sunglass to protect my eyes from the harmful rays of the sun. I barely had a wink last night, then Philip woke me up around one to leave with the boys. Our mission was to get Alexander Ortega into the island because Philip Madrigal has something to discuss. In my opinion, it’s less bothersome if Philip would visit Alexander. After waiting for several hours, Alexander refused to go with us and said that he was occupied with something else. “What are we going to do now?” Enrique asked worriedly when I get inside the van. “Let’s just wait,” I replied, and then I gave a signal to Michael and the rest of the boy to be ready once Alexander would come in the parking lot. “Can you move  closer to the black pick-up?” “Okay,” Enrique agreed and immediately maneuvered the vehicle to park behind the pick-up that Alexander used as his service vehicle. “Michael, be alert,” I ordered. “Yes, Ty.” We stayed inside the van for almost four hours, and nobody was allowed to go out unless it’s an emergency. We couldn’t let the building’s security personnel suspect us, so we had to limit our movements. “Look!” Michael alerted me as soon as a couple was fast approaching the pick-up beside us. “There’s our guy,” I muttered, and as soon as possible, the boys got out of the vehicle and targeted the couple in a few seconds. Michael moved stealthily behind Alexander and smacked him, unaware. Alexander’s companion screamed for help, but Enrique was fast enough to silence the woman. Enrique’s action left me in awe, but the woman’s ear-piercing scream inside the vehicle irritated me. I glared at him, but the wench had the nerve to glared back! “What do you want from us?” The hysterical woman asked while her eyes kept on darting towards Alexander, who remained unconscious in the back. “Michael, is he still alive?” I asked, and the woman gasped for breath. I didn’t want to frighten her, but killing Alexander by accident would endanger our lives. “Yes, he’s still breathing,” Michael answered, and I heard the woman let out a sigh of relief. “Miss, you are so pretty. Can I kiss you?” he jested, but the woman screamed so loud that I had to cover my ears. When she refused to stop screaming despite how I pleaded with her, I slapped her so hard. She was shocked and massaged her right cheek, but I continued to glare at her. “Behave!” I ordered. When she let her tears fall freely, I immediately felt bad for what I did, but it was necessary! “Let’s go,” I commanded Enrique to start the vehicle. I was so focused on my thoughts that I almost missed them when Alexander regained his consciousness. When I glanced at him, I saw his concerns towards the woman who cried silently in her seat. “I’m sorry,” he mouthed to his girlfriend. “Tyler?” I immediately turned around when he recognized me, but Michael suspected that I was in a tight position and hit Alexander again. The woman gasped loudly when Alexander groaned in pain. Michael’s fist was always prepared every time that Alexander woke up. During the entire duration of our travel, Alexander was unconscious, and I began to worry if Michael hit a dangerous spot, that would accidentally kill him. It couldn’t happen if I wanted to live happily with my handsome driver. A few hours later, we arrived on a boardwalk leading towards a huge estate in yellow and white. Alexander kept on glaring at me, but I could only shrug off my shoulder. Suddenly, my eyes widen when Michael and some others tied Alexander’s hands and feet. I screamed to protest at their inhumane treatment towards Alexander. How could they treat Philip’s VIP guest as a pig who was about to be roasted? “Stop it!” I instructed Michael to let go of Alexander. “We have to be sure that he can’t escape,” Michael reasoned out as he refused to untie the rope on Alexander’s hands.   “We have his girlfriend, remember?”  Alexander’s jaw tightened when I mentioned the woman who was probably inside the house because I instructed Enrique to go ahead of us. “No way,” Michael refused to listen to me, so I had to pinch the skin on his side. “Why are you so stubborn? Can you handle Papa’s wrath later?” “Who is your Papa? Philip Madrigal?” Michael asked with pure malice in his voice. I rolled my eyes at Michael for being stubborn and pinched his side once again. “Don’t you dare try to be on our father’s bad side, Michael?” “I was only kidding,” he answered. “Alright. Go on now, and please be gentle with Alexander. He’s a VIP,” I reminded him. Inside the living room of Philip’s mansion, the woman laughed out loud when they were informed to be our high esteemed guest. I tried to ignore her scathing glances and called one of the maids to prepare refreshments. “VIP? Are you serious?” She asked me. “Alexander, what’s going on?” “Hey beautiful, did my men scare you?” Philip asked when Alexander took his time to answer her inquiry.  “Are you talking to me?” She questioned Philip with no regard to the man’s authority inside the property.  “Yes,” Philip replied. “Are you f*****g serious, old man? You asked your men to kidnap us, and then you’re asking now if they scared us? Are you crazy?”   “I’m sorry, but you should blame your boyfriend. If he didn’t refuse my invitation to come here, the k********g wouldn’t happen.” “Oh my God, Philip! Do you really have to be so open to Lilian?” “You know each other?” Lilian asked. “Yes. He is Philip Madrigal and Marcus’ dad.” “What?” Lilian was shocked to find out that the mastermind of their k********g was Marcus’ father. “But why?” “I just want to talk to your boyfriend,” Philip replied. “Tyler, come here for a second,” Philip called.   “Yes, Papa?” Everyone stared at me when I dared to call Philip Madrigal Papa. Alexander and his girlfriend’s mouth were gaped open while Michael just shook his head. When I glanced at Philip, his nostrils flared in annoyance. “Why don’t you show Lilian our gallery?” Philip requested. “Of course!” I agreed to show her around, but something in the woman raised my blood pressure. There’s something familiar about her, but I couldn’t pinpoint what it is. While on our way to the gallery, she remained a snob and didn’t talk with me. Who cares? When we arrived at the gallery, I followed her around like a dog, and as soon as I realized what I was doing, I stopped in front of a draft painting and let her wander inside the gallery. A few minutes later, she was standing at my side and staring at the woman in the picture. “She’s beautiful,” she said. “Philip’s wife,” I informed him. “I see. Are you really a brother to Marcus?” She inquired. The question was delivered normally, but somehow, it offended me for an unknown reason. “If you have doubts, then keep it to yourself.” “I didn’t mean to offend or something, but Marcus is extremely handsome,” she announced. “Really? How can you say that? Are you interested in Marcus?” “Hell, no! If you know my sister, Daniella, you won’t dare dream to touch even the tip of his hair.” “Your sister must be ugly to be so possessive,” I jested, but the darn wench dared to step on my toe. “Ouch!” I yelped in pain, and she just laughed. “So I was all along; you are gay, aren’t you?” “Yes,” I admitted the truth. “I wish to have a gay brother,” she declared out of nowhere, and I stared at her for a second. “Why?” “Because they are funny,” she answered. “We’re not a clown, Miss Lilian.” “Hey, wait for me!” She shouted when I strolled towards the door to leave her alone. “Are you done admiring Philip’s arts?” “There’s nothing that catches my interest, or I’m just not into arts,” Lilian answered.   When we returned to the living room, Alexander and Philip were so serious about something, so I tried to stop Lilian from disturbing them. “Let’s give them some space,” I told her, but the woman was so stubborn she didn’t listen to me. I gritted my teeth when Lilian sat beside Alexander while the men were in the middle of a serious discussion. When the maid arrived with a tray of refreshments, Lilian served herself with a glass of orange juice. Alexander may not have noticed it, but my eyes were trained to be extra observant, and I saw how Philip stared at Lilian. His mouth gaped open while Lilian drank her juice in one gulp, then all of a sudden, he announced something that shocked me. “So you’re saying that Lilian and Marcus are in Daniella’s house, correct?” Philip asked Alexander’s confirmation. “Yeah, that’s right. May I know why you are suddenly interested in Marcus?” Alexander inquired because it wasn’t a secret to all of us that Philip and Marcus were so independent with each other. “I have to check something. Hmmm, Tyler, can you help me pack my things? I’m going to see Marcus,” Philip declared. “What do you mean, Papa? You will leave me alone on the island?” “You can stay in the chateau if you want to,” he said. “The Chateau? I love it!” I exclaimed with so much excitement in my heart. It’s a castle proudly constructed on top of a mountain but had access to the metropolis. I missed bar hopping so much that I wanted to leave immediately. “I’ll pack your things right now. How long are you going to stay with Marcus?” “Indefinitely,” he answered. “Great!”
