Before we headed to the hospital, one of the cops stopped us to ask me a few questions about Alexis. He really couldn’t have done this at the hospital, I need to get there. But as he was grabbing my information, he told me that the other driver had already admitted to texting and driving when he called 911. I guess he tried to give a pathetic excuse that he had an urgent email he had to respond to. If it was so important, he could have pulled over and quickly responded, instead of almost killing my daughter because he was distracted.
I constantly drilled into Phil’s and Alexis’s heads that they would lose their license if they ever drove distractedly. How can this guy be so f*****g stupid? The worst part is this i***t tried to apologize for what he did.
