Jason’s POV
Neither Cam or I had a good night’s sleep. The two of us spent most of the night talking, well more him talking and me listening. It wasn’t until after 1 that we both started to fall asleep but I could hear him tossing and turning all night and silently crying when he thought I was sleeping. I just can’t believe a parent would do that to their kid.
My sisters were confused when they found Cameron sitting at the kitchen table with me this morning when they woke up since the rule is no sleepovers on school nights. Mom explained to them that Cameron was going through a hard time right now and needed to be around a friend and that he would be staying with us for a while. I don’t think they fully understood what that all meant but they seemed to be fine with having Cameron around
