Carter's POV:
"How is Beth doing?" Mom asks me as she enters my study as I am reviewing some documents.
"She's good, I think something is bothering her, she doesn't want to talk about it with me", I sigh.
"Give her time, in the meantime, you can send her flowers to make her feel better or something", she suggests.
I nod.
I call one of my men who are in the city watching over Beth to buy flowers and have them delivered to her dorm.
After the phone call ends mom says, "Leon and Antonio are requesting a few days off duty to go to Hawaii, it's their way of celebrating their nine months anniversary."
"Both of them?"
She nods.
"Tell them to take a week but they have to put in the extra work when they get back", I state.
She nods.
"You need to take rest as well, travel somewhere", she
