Sometimes... your whole life would start happening at a certain point in time. You could have lived a hundred years before that moment and a hundred more after, but everything in your life would actually begin at that one point. And at that point in life, everything you ever knew about your life, yourself, everything... would change. Everything would change to the point you no longer felt in control of who you were, who you are supposed to be.
For Elian, it was that moment she woke up from her dream with the silver-eyed beast, and went for a run. It was also that moment when someone plunged the knife inside her back. That was the point where her future and past converged... and changed. She was still reeling
