Elian looked at him with a soft sigh. He was stalking the entire length of the balcony like a caged tiger, and she could clearly see how much what she had told him affected him. From the look in his eyes, he clearly cared, but why would he care? Why would he care so much?
He could just ignore her or tell her that he didn't have time to help anyone, but he didn't say anything like that. He was, in fact, very eager to kill them all for daring to try and kill her.
She didn't even tell him the full truth, as she was sure there would be nothing stopping him if he knew that they had already killed her once and that it would be happening again in six months.
