Elian stared at him as he vanished like smoke. She floated in the water, looking around the beautiful forest around her. It was so peaceful here, and she felt safe here. She felt like nothing would go wrong in this place for her.
She got out of the water and walked around, thinking about how she was going to tell Quillon about her recently acquired single status. Of course, Blake had told her that he would win her back, but she didn't care. She knew it would not be possible.
