Everything was falling apart. She had always been one step ahead of everything, but suddenly everything seemed to be shifting against her. She stared at herself in the mirror. Her violet eyes glinted and for a second, she could see herself without the mask she had been wearing.
Her scowl was dark, deranged as her eyes gleamed in vengeance.
