"Please help me, they will kill me", ...
As soon as these words left her mouth, the Alphas immediately clenched their jaws. It didn't matter whether they wanted a mate or not, but the thought of someone trying to harm let alone kill their mate was enough to ruffle their furs.
"Who... who will kill you?", the middle Alpha asked, gritting his teeth.
All of their eyes were fixated on their little mate, who was now covered in sweat, panting hard and breathing loudly.
"These people... they were... big and.. and..",she panted while trying to speak and thinking of the nightmare.
But that did nothing to help as she became more frightened and unstable, while the Alphas became worried and restless. Their wolves made a fuss and they too felt their hearts aching. Sighing loudly, the Alphas all together, stepped on the bed and just sat there. Just as they expected, soon their little mate calmed down and dozed off to sleep while they all spent the night looking after her.
************
"Riana, where are your brothers?", Luna Ana asked as she walked out of her room to have breakfast. It was already eight in the morning and by this time the whole family always had their breakfast together. Just then, Riana's mate and the Beta of the pack, Henry, walked in along with their son Ryan, who was still half asleep. But when his eyes fell on his grandmother, he woke up in a second and patted the shoulder of his father to let him down. Once his feet touched the ground, he ran towards his grandmother and giggled loudly as Ana picked him up.
Just then a door clicked and the triplets came out of their room grunting and annoyed. Their dark circles were evident to everyone and Riana gave her brothers a puzzled look.
"Mom, I think there's something wrong with her", Evan said, taking his seat.
"Last night...", Ethan stopped mid sentence, looking at the omegas who were standing there to serve them and told them to leave. Once they all left, Ethan told everyone what had happened last night.
Hearing everything, Riana was the first one to gasp out loud. She couldn't believe she was the only one who had no idea that her dumb, idiotic brothers had already found their mate. But before she could open her mouth to complain, she looked at her brothers' restless faces and realized how much stress they had right now.
"So, did she say anything after that or mumble something in her dreams or nightmares?", their mother asked.
"Nope, once we sat beside her, she slept like a log while we all stayed awake in case anything would happen to her. Everytime I would fall asleep, my wolf would practically growl at me, making me awake again", Ethan grumbled and his brothers nodded their heads, supporting him, as they all went through the same torture.
"As of right now, it's still very hard to say what happened to her, but we will think about it later. Now you three just focus on eating. See the omegas made your favorite dishes", Ana said with a beaming smile, and the Alphas felt damn hungry seeing the food in front of them.
They all started munching on the food happily and smiling loudly, seeing the tactics of their nephew. They would all laugh whole heartedly seeing Ryan struggling to say something or utter something complete gibberish. After a long sleepless night, this breakfast meal was giving the Alphas the energy they needed until a loud thud disturbed their meal. Knowing the thud came from the room in which their mate was sleeping, the Alphas were about to get up when an ear-splitting scream froze all of them.
The Alphas were horror stricken when they saw their mate, sitting on the ground with blood oozing out from her hands. As they approached her, she growled at them, making them stop moving forward.
"What's wrong?",
"Did anything happen?",
The Alphas asked while she kept grunting and growling.
"Leave me alone.... leave me alone", she kept screaming and shouting and started to thrash her arms and legs.
Worried about their little mate was going to hurt herself, the Alphas advanced forward and Ethan held her hands tightly. Soon her mother arrived and saw her condition. The Alphas let their pheromones out, which helped her a bit and she calmed down. After asking her a few questions, the team of doctors and Luna Ana finally came to the conclusion that their patient suffered from something so traumatic that she was suffering from Amnesia. Apart from the incident which looked like someone or a group of people trying to kill her, there was nothing else she remembered. Forget about her identity, she didn't even know her own name. The doctors also suggested that her nightmares would be frequent and vivid, since that was the only thing she experienced and still remembered. Suggesting the Alphas to keep it cool, the doctors left.
The triplets, on the other hand, stood dumbfounded as they looked at their mate and thought about what she must have gone through.
