The days that followed, Rick got better and stronger but could not leave the medical tent to join his crew because his punctured lung had not fully recovered yet. He, however, did not just lay on the mat but started helping with a few chores. He started engaging with everyone brought in to the medical tent and got to understand the problems in Sergio. He could not help noticing how similar his attitude and the life he lived was to those of the Sergio leaders. Their president spent all his time abroad while his country burned to ashes and thousands of lives dying. His wife and children also lived abroad.
