CHAPTER FOUR

1230 Words
“What the hell do you think you are doing?” I ask the two of them, disgust emanating from me. Louisa let out a little groan as Felix pulled his d**k out of her and pulled his pants up. Seeing him in this kind of a position right now, the urge to slap him gripped me. I used to see him as a god but f*****g my step mother on my father’s bed when his dead body is still in the house is the most insane and painful thing I have ever had to witness in my entire life, even the moon goddesss will bear me witness to that. “Do you not know how to knock?” Louisa inquired as she pulled her dress down, not bothering about her black lacy bra that’s bare for my eyes to see, “aren’t you supposed to be taking care of the guest?” “What kind of disrespect is this, Felix?” I went ahead to ask my husband, “why would you… “Don’t be too nosy!” He cuts me off, “unless you want the guests to hear” “How pathetic can the two of you be?” Tears welled up in my eyes again. How can the man I have been married to for ten years suddenly become someone I no longer recognize? “My father is dead and you are having s*x?” “He is already being given a betting burial” Felix interrupted me again, “don’t you think that’s more than enough for the man who doesn’t even have enough balls?” “Felix?” My heart broke into a million pieces again. This is the man who used to treat Felix like a son, how could he… “It’s okay baby” Louisa gently draped her hand over his shoulder, “let’s get this over with!” “You b***h!” I lunged at her but he immediately grabbed me and shoved me against the wall. My mind immediately drifted to my baby and I cupped my tummy but he didn't seem to care, his eyes darkened as he continued staring daggers at me. “What the hell do you think you are doing?” He growled in anger, something he had never done before. “I am your wife, Felix” “Ex!” He thundered, “ex wife, have that at the back of your head” “How… A knock came on the door and my speech was interrupted. “Luna” a familiar voice filtered through, “everyone is ready to bid your father goodbye” “Okay!” I sniffed back a tear, “I am on my way out”Felix finally let go of my hand but he didn't take a step back. “You should go and say your final goodbyes” he whispered before he took a step back. My eyes returned to Louisa who had a stupid smirk on her face. “Aren’t you going to bid your husband goodbye?” My tone was laced with enough sarcasm, “or you want to keep getting f****d by a man younger than you?” The smirk disappeared while mine formed, she looked so pathetic that I could almost feel pity for her. “I will see you at the pack house, Felix Devanpool” Not bothering to wait for any of their responses, I turn around and angrily make my way out of the room. The tears in my eyes finally fell. He is hurting me even when my father’s body has not even touched the earth yet. Rossie was waiting by the stairs, her face red and puffy. Aside from her, I don’t think I have anyone else. “It’s okay, Rossie” I told her but I sounded more like I was trying to convince myself. “The car is ready” “Hmmm” With one last look at the door, I walked down the stairs with her pushing the thought of Felix and Louisa to the back of my head. Right now, I want to focus on my father and that’s the only thing I care about. After thanking and bidding some of the guests goodbye, father’s body was taken into the car and the journey to the pack house began. How I dreaded it, I still couldn’t believe that my father died but then again, I saw him. I saw him lie lifeless in that coffin, he didn’t even hear the news of his grandchild. “Hey!” A familiar voice called behind me and Damon appeared beside me, his face bland and without any kind of expression, “need a ride to the pack house?” “And what makes you think I will go with you?” He looked around then shrugged, an amused smirk forming on his lips. “Felix wouldn’t take you obviously, you can’t go in the same car as your father and you are pregnant. Do you want to drive?” “How did you know?” Was he stalking me? How did he know I was pregnant? Even Felix was not aware yet. “Let’s just say I give my attention to the things that need it. Get in the car, I will give you a ride. Felix asked me to” I hadn’t even responded yet but he was already making his way towards his Aston martini. With each passing day, I hated him the more but right now, I should focus on my father and forget about everything else. **** By the time we got to the pack house, it was already noon. Felix made a lot of arrangements, I couldn’t even lie but somewhere inside of me, I couldn't believe he would do that kind of a thing to me. Ten years and he chose to hurt me the way he did. The burial rites were swift but very detailed, a tombstone was erected for him as the father of the pack Luna. It was when he was finally laid to the ground that the tears I was holding all came crashing out. He was gone, never to be seen again. I would never be able to forgive myself for the last two years of our lives. I purposely stayed away from him and now.. “Take heart, Luna” some of the pack members said to me, “the moon goddess knows best” I nodded without saying anything. The only thing I wanted to do at that moment was just lie in bed but Felix was still missing. Was he screwing her again? “I will be right back” I told Rossie who nodded and I immediately walked away, towards Felix's room but when I got to the door, I started to hear voices and I am fully sure I know who those voices belong to. “Do you think that old bag of bones would have been able to do anything?” One of the voices asked. “Of course baby, I trust you” I took a step back, I knew exactly what the two of them were talking about. It was my father, they both killed him. I grabbed the handle and made to push open but someone grabbed my hand and pulled me into his embrace. “Shhhhhh”
