{Kaly’s POV}
After sending Maddox off for the throne trip as we have been calling it, I feel lonely. We ate breakfast together in our room and we had a little too much fun with some strawberries. I smile to myself remembering the filthy things my mate did to me this morning.
“Luna!” One of the warriors left to guard me shouts as he knocks on the door. I stand and walk over to the door and pull it open. “Yes?” I ask looking at the buff warrior who looks to be in his 40’s. “Luna there is a man at the front gates asking to see you.” He tells me and looks worried. “What is with all the worry?” I ask confused.
“Nothing ma’am, it’s just Maddox. We don’t want to make the new Alpha mad letting a good-looking man see his mate while he is gone.” The warrior told me, and I giggled. “N
