{Maddox’s POV}
I am about to walk into a throne room, and I am standing here missing my mate. It has been a month since the attack and nothing else has happened. The fence around our perimeter is secured and finished. Jacob, Sara, Garrett, Lylah, Cole, and Olivia have all went back to Moonstone pack and Garrett made me promise to keep a close eye on Abbie.
Speaking of Abbie, after Garrett and Lylah left, she came to me and told me she was sure he was her mate and asked if it were possible for someone to have two mates and I told her yes. I didn’t tell her I knew; I just let her talk of her reasons why and I nodded and listened.
