- KATHERINE'S POV -  I woke up greeted by the constant "beep-beep-beep" of a hospital monitor. This habit I have of falling asleep in one place and waking up in a hospital has to stop, I grumbled, opening my eyes and forcing myself to sit up. The room was lit only by a lamp and the monitors' leds; according to the clock hanged on the wall in front of me it was three in the morning, and it was raining heavily outside. The darkness of the night was constantly lit up by lightnings.  Beside me, collapsed on a chair and with his head resting on my mattress, was Murtagh. He was sleeping, but he had such a tormended face that it made my heart tighten in anguish.
