Things were really not going the way I thought they would go. I never expected Laila to be the one who wanted to go back home as soon as she woke up and telling her about what the doctor had told me wasn’t my way of trying to manipulate her into leaving with me. However, I knew that she would want to get to the truth, and she wasn’t going to stop until she got answers.
