I knew that Laila would greatly disapprove of what I was doing right now. I knew that she would be disappointed that I was making life changing decisions for our daughter because I didn’t want to lose the throne. She had said in her final words that she wanted me to work with James and although this was me working with him, I was certain that it was not in the way that had had envisioned it. If she was here and hearing his suggestion, I wondered if she was going to agree like I did or was she finally going to see James for what he was.
