LAILA'S POV
After Dylan went to check on his mother we headed to the throne room where we were expecting the elders and the alphas to already be gathered. I just couldn’t wait for us to get this over and done with. I felt like this thing had been going on forever and I had almost forgotten who I was before this whole thing began. I was feeling like my whole identity was about the former queen and I was getting sick of it.
When we arrived at the throne room I noticed that the set up was different from what I was used to. Usually, the elders’ chairs were positioned in front of the throne and there was never any table.
